The centerpiece of the park is the beautiful Moon Gate Fountain. This fountain was inspired by the Moon Gates that Noguchi saw during a visit to China. The fountain is made up of two granite circles that seem to float on a sheet of water. The pond in the park is home to turtles, fish, and ducks. It is a great place to come and relax with a book or to take a peaceful stroll. The walkways throughout the park are lined with trees and flowers. They are the perfect place to take a break from the Texas heat. Tranquillity Park is the perfect place to come to relax, reflect, and escape the busyness of everyday life.
